  We recently visited the The Terrace Grille for dinner. Staying at Bay Pointe Inn, we were lured in by the various photographs of amazing dishes served up next door. We started with an appetizer (crab cake) and ended with indigestion and a bad taste (literally) in our mouths. The food was sub-par and over priced. I had the herb encrusted whitefish served over a bed of heartburn. The fish was beyond dry and the roasted red pepper coulis appeared flash frozen and thawed under a heating lamp. The asparagus, draped ever so carefully over the fish, was over cooked and scorched. We were provided bread and oil for dipping, but it was frozen in the middle. I don't normally write reviews. However, there is always an exception. Our service wasn't the problem. It was busy, but she handled it well. For the $150 we spent on our meal, I would have expected better flavors, less heating lamps, and more of a culinary experience.

  Terrible experience at the Terrace Grille. Looks like a lovely hotel, a shame that the restaurant staff are so unprofessional.
